THE MYOVISION
E-Scan
MyoVision’s ScanVision™ uses Static sEMG (surface electromyography) to measure electrical activity of the paraspinal muscles while weight bearing. It effectively provides a quantifiable means of showing patients what you feel with your hands. Simply put, it is an electronic form of palpation. The device effectively and scientifically measures the muscular response to spinal subluxation. E-Scan (the software) shows the levels of muscle tension about the spine in an easy to understand graphic. The ScanVision's patented wireless 5 electrode design allows you to perform the test in less than one minute. MyoVision's proprietary sEMG technology is a completely safe, painless and non-invasive method of evaluating spinal health utilizing the well established EKG technology.

DynaROM
DynaROM is used to test for pain as a result of soft tissue injury from an auto collision or personal injury. Sensors are placed on the body to measure both how far you can bend, and your muscle guarding response. You are required to perform various motions as the sensors graph these measures. This data is used to objectively establish need for care, and track your progress.

The graphs will show two measurements: 1. Muscle Gurading and 2. Range of Motion. These measurements are taken at the same time while you perform 3 repeated movements. The data gathered correlates highly with components of soft tissue injury, by measuring and graphing both muscle guarding response and range of motion at the same time. Unlike MRI, CT, or ROM testing, DynaROM is performed in motion which demonstrates the abnormal muscle function and graphs it in real time.
